My works are watercolor on wooden color prints.
The editions are limited to 10 pieces.
Once the “Horisusume” technique is completed, there cannot be a reprint.
Mental or imagined scenery is expressed in sumi ink in the piece based on the sprits of Japanese calligraphy.
The work also has the concept of the “blank”, the importance of the balance between black and white, tangible and intangible or fullness and emptiness.
My works reach from classical to modern art.
Without the determination onto a specific method I create frescos, and works from small sizes to large sizes.
My works also include stainless steel, stone carving, photographs, gardens, graphic design and architecture.
Through using the techniques of stained glass, the metal lines which connect the glasses gain expressions.
My aim while creating is to give the glasses a presence.
